What you gain from a chiropractic session with me:

1. Personalized assessment & targeted treatment:
From the moment I arrive, I will evaluate your posture, spinal joint mobility, muscle tension and functional movement. Then I will create a treatment plan tailored to your goals - whether it's pain relief, improved performance, better movement, or recovery from injury.

2. Pain relief & reduction in discomfort:
Chiropractic adjustments (spinal or joint manipulations) are shown to reduce back pain, neck pain and headaches by reintegrating joint mobility and restoring how your body moves. Manual therapy (hands on soft tissue) helps relieve muscle spasms, reduce inflammation, and restore movement. (Motion Rx) Dry Needling targets trigger points and nerve innervations zones that improves circulation, reduces muscle tension, and can accelerate recovery. (Cleveland Clinic)

3. Improved mobility, flexibility & function:
By addressing joint restrictions, muscle imbalances and soft-tissue tightness, you'll often gain a greater range of motion, better ease of movement, fewer painful or stiff areas.

4. Non-invasive, drug-free approach:
Chiropractic care is often promoted as an alternative to medication or surgery for many musculoskeletal issues. Because I integrate adjustments, manual therapy, and dry needling, the treatment remains minimally invasive and focused on restoring your body's own healing ability rather than masking symptoms.

5. Faster recovery & better athletic/everyday performance:
If you train, work physically, or simply want to move better in daily life, these treatments help you recover from wear-and-tear, workouts, repetitive strain or injury. Dry Needling in particular helps athletes by improving muscle function and movement capacity. Chiropractic adjustments plus manual therapy aid in returning to your active lifestyle more quickly.

6. Long-term wellness & prevention:
It's not just about " fixing this one pain." Regular alignment, mobility work and soft-tissue maintenance reduce the likelihood of recurring problems or compensations arising. For example, improved posture and spinal health support overall wellness.

7. Tailored to your needs:
Because every body is different, we adapt the treatments based on your body's presentation, goals, environment, and preferences. The personal approach yields better results.

What you gain from a physiotherapy appointment with me:

1. Personalized assessment & treatment plan:
From the moment I arrive at your home, office, or gym, we will assess your movement, posture and problem areas -- not just the symptom (e.g., "my back hurts") but the underlying causes (muscle imbalances, mobility restrictions, workout strain, posture habits). Evidence shows physiotherapy works because it targets how you move, not just how you feel. (Cleveland Clinic)

2. Pain relief with fewer medications or surgery:
Physiotherapy is proven to reduce pain and, in many cases, may help avoid reliance on pain mediations or even surgery. (Frederick Health) With our mobile format, you get this benefit where you live or train - no extra travel, less interruption in your day.

3. Improved mobility, strength & function:
You'll leave the session not just feeling better, but moving better: more range of motion, improved stability, stronger support for your joints and muscles so that you can get back to your training, work, or everyday life.

4. Tailored for your environment & goals:
Because I come to you, the treatment is in your actual environment (your gym, your workplace, your living room) and I take into account your real-world tasks and goals - whether that's lifting your kids, improving your athletic performance, reducing desk fatigue, or returning from injury. I'll equip you with exercises and movement strategies you can do between visits, tailored to your schedule, space and needs. This enhances results and helps you stop being "passive" in your recovery - active participation boosts outcome. (Watauga Orthopaedics)

5. Preventing future injury & promoting long-term health:
My goal isn't just to fix today's pain but to improve your movement patters so you reduce your risk of recurring injury. Research shows physiotherapy helps with injury prevention and long-term functional health (OAA ORTHO)

6. Faster return to what matters:
Whether it's getting back to your sport, feeling strong at work, playing with your kids, or simply moving without stiffness - my mobile physiotherapy service is about getting you back to your best as efficiently as possible.

*choose this option when booking if you are only interested in an appointment for rehabilitative exercise to be performed in person together. All other services (Manual Therapy, Dry Needling, Adjustments) can be booked under the Chiropractic Discipline.

Alabama native Dr. Katherine Carpenter is a Webster Certified Chiropractor and NASM Certified Women’s Fitness Specialist serving Baldwin and Mobile County, AL. With a background as a competitive gymnast for 10 years, Dr. Carpenter personally experienced the impact of musculoskeletal injuries–an early hyperextension and rotation injury ultimately introduced her to chiropractic care and shaped her passion for helping others move, feel, and perform better. Her athletic foundation continued in high school as a student athletic trainer and later at The University of Alabama (Roll Tide), where she earned her bachelor’s degree in 2017 and competed on the Women’s Rugby team, serving as Vice President.

Dr. Carpenter graduated with her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University in 2021, and began her career as a dedicated new-patient intake doctor. This role strengthened her commitment to thorough examination, clear diagnosis, and truly uncovering the root cause of pain and dysfunction. During this time, she also developed a deep passion for improving the pregnancy and postpartum experience following the pregnancy and birth of her son, Clay. After seeing how often women were told their pain was “just part of pregnancy,” she pursued specialized training to provide effective, evidence-based care that helps women stay active, comfortable, and confident throughout every stage.

In addition to her perinatal focus, Dr. Carpenter emphasizes functional movement and long-term injury resolution. She is certified in both Level 1 and 2 of the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), allowing her to solve complex movement-based issues that don’t respond to typical treatment protocols. She is certified in Dry Needling via Integrative Dry Needling Institute to further enhance her patients’ outcomes–pairing this technique with chiropractic adjustments, manual therapy, soft-tissue work, and corrective exercise for faster and more sustainable results.

Today, Dr. Carpenter brings this well-rounded, patient-centered approach directly to her community through her on-site/mobile chiropractic practice. Whether treating athletes, active adults, working professionals, or expecting mothers, her mission is simple: deliver convenient, high quality care that helps people move better, feel better, and live fully–without the limitations of traditional clinic visits.
